【摘要】:Thisspecificationprovidestheminimumrequirementsforpressure-retainingcomponentsoffluidconditionerfittings.Itaddressesthepressure-retainingcomponentdesign,fabrication,rating,marking,andtesting.Thisspecificationisnotintendedtooverrideanyofthepresentfluidconditionerfittingspecificationsspecifictodevicessuchasstrainers,filters,andtrapsbutshouldbeusedfordevicesforwhichaspecificspecificationdoesnotapply.Thisspecificationprovidessufficientrequirementstoallowafluidconditionerfittingtobeusedinthemarineenvironment.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
