【摘要】:Whencomparingdifferentfloorpolishesforanactualfieldperformance,itisimportantthatallsurfacesusedbepreparedinthesameway.Whenthisprocedureisfollowed,variationsinthetestsurfacesareminimized.1.1Thispracticecoversthecomparisonoftheperformanceofwater-emulsionfloorpolishesontestfloorsagainstareferencematerial.Itisapplicabletothefollowingtypesofpolishes:1.1.1Waxemulsionpolishes,1.1.2Nonbuffableemulsionpolishes,1.1.3Detergent-resistantemulsionpolishes,householdtype,and1.1.4Detergent-resistantemulsionpolishes,industrialtype.1.2Gloss,leveling,discoloration,trafficmarking,slipresistance,andremovaleaseofthesetypesoffloorpolishesisratedincomparisontoareferencematerial.Whereapplicable,detergentresistanceisalsoevaluated.Thismethodisnottobeconsideredasarecommendedmaintenanceprocedure.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
